Integrated Water Management
The ABV des 7 (Agency of 7 Watersheds) is a not-for-profit organization whose mandate is the improvement of the water quality of the seven main rivers watersheds located on his territory, with an aim towards sustainable development.
The ABV des 7 is a major player in the integrated water management of the watershed. In this role, it serves as a forum for the exchange of ideas between representatives of all users and managers of the water resources within the territory of the watershed.
The composition of the ABV des 7 is representative of all the stakeholders concerned with the management of the water and wetlands in the watershed, as well as all activities that have an effect on water quality within its boundary, more precisely the municipal sector, the economic and industrial sector, the community sector and the governmental sector.

Groundwater knowledge acquisition
Within the framework of groundwater knowledge acquisition, the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment and Parks of Québec (MDDEP) gives to Laval University the mandate to lead the groundwater knowledge acquisition project on the whole municipalized territory of the Outaouais region (13488 km2)
